Decarbonization Commitment

“While energy accounts for only 55% of global emissions, we believe that achieving true net zero necessitates adopting a circular economy—reimagining how we produce and consume materials and products.”

Our Decarbonization Strategy

Our commitment goes beyond merely reducing Scope 1 and 2 emissions. We aim to drive system-wide change by integrating innovative solutions across our operations, with a particular focus on Scope 3 emissions. These emissions, which account for a significant portion of our carbon footprint, encompass our waste management, supply chain, logistics, and employee activities. Tackling these indirect emissions is crucial for achieving meaningful impact in the future. Here’s how we’re taking action:

Energy consumption is one of the largest contributors to our operational emissions. To tackle this, we have implemented a robust energy efficiency program across all our facilities. This includes:

  • Upgrading to energy-efficient lighting and optimizing air conditioning.
  • Implementing an IoT system to monitor the real-time energy consumption of equipment for AI performance analysis.
  • Continuously monitoring and optimizing energy usage through smart technology and data analytics.

Our logistics operations are a critical part of our business, but they also contribute to emissions. To mitigate this, we are:

  • Optimizing delivery routes to reduce fuel consumption.
  • Partnering with logistics providers that prioritize sustainability.
  • Recording and monitoring emissions generated for the logistic process.
  • Preferring the use of electric vehicles.

Employee travel, especially international flights, is a notable source of emissions. To address this, we are:

  • Encouraging virtual meetings to minimize the need for travel.
  • Offsetting emissions from essential travel through verified carbon offset projects.
  • Prioritizing flight and routing with lower emissions.

Waste generation and disposal contribute to greenhouse gas emissions. Our goal is to achieve zero landfill waste by 2030. To achieve this, we are:

  • Implementing waste reduction initiatives and technologies across all operations.
  • Partnering with downstream recycling and waste-to-energy facilities to ensure proper material and energy recovery.
  • Tracing material flow throughout the process for waste audit purposes.
  • Educating employees and customers on sustainable waste management practices.

We are committed to creating a circular economy within our operations. This includes:

  • Recycling: We actively recycle materials such as paper, plastics, and electronics, aiming to achieve a recycling rate higher than 85% to minimize waste and reduce our environmental footprint.
  • Donations: Unused or surplus items are donated to communities in need, ensuring these resources are put to good use rather than discarded.
  • Reuse: Reuse is our top priority for both our operations and client solutions, extending the lifecycle of materials and reducing the demand for new resources.

We are committed to ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of our carbon offset initiatives. To achieve this, we have:

  • Third-Party Verification: Engaged third-party experts to verify our calculations on carbon offsets resulting from proper reuse and recycling practices. This ensures transparency and credibility in our reporting.
  • Carbon Sink Projects: Actively engaged in carbon sink projects, which involve activities such as reforestation and bio char carbon sequestration, to absorb more carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
  • Carbon Trading: Participated in carbon trading markets, allowing us to trade carbon credits and support global efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

We believe that disclosure is a key driver in achieving carbon neutrality. By participating in the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), we enhance our transparency, credibility, and investor confidence. CDP participation provides benchmarking, valuable insights, and market differentiation, supporting our decarbonization efforts and potential involvement in carbon trading markets.

We are investing in comprehensive training for our staff, including ISO 14046 and Carbon Trader Certification. This equips them with essential skills for waste footprint assessment and carbon trading, preparing us to capitalize on emerging carbon market opportunities and reinforcing our commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.

Our Achievement

To demonstrate our commitment and ensure transparency in our decarbonization performance, we actively participate in various awards and voluntary disclosure schemes to showcase our efforts. Below are some of our key achievements:
